About the Internet Church
We have produced a short video (9 min see below) which describes St Stephen Walbrook Church, its history, and its links with the City of London, Christopher Wren, Henry Moore, John Vanbrugh, the Great Fire of London, and the London Internet Church; we hope you will find it interesting to watch.
We are seeking to continue building the church, both virtually on line, and in the real physical world. We firmly believe that an Internet presence as a church, cannot replace the reality of personal interaction and it is important that we come together as a group of believers in the flesh! However we also believe that we can assist the growth of the Christian Community, and spread God's message of love by harnessing the latest technology.
Why not look at "What we believe". We wholeheartedly believe in "new ways of being church" and we want to explore with our online and physical communities what this means. We don't pretend to have all the answers!
The London Internet Church - with its new and easy to navigate design, is now an active site, with changes and challenges being offered on a regular basis. Many join us each day for Night Prayer, but be aware, we soon will offer a full-day range of opportunities and resources for your personal, professional and communal use. Stay in touch. We are your "on-line" church and all are most welcome.
