FROM PETER DELANEY:

Dear Friend of the London Internet Church,

At the Tate Britainthere is a new exhibition of the work of Britain’s most famous modern sculptor Henry Moore

It has particular significance for me as the London Internet Churchis based at the church of St Stephen Walbrookwhere I am priest in charge: at the heart of the church is Henry Moore’s eight ton marble circular altar which was installed in 1986.

COURSES

LENT 2010 ---------- Highly Recommended: Transformative

Transformative Lent Course

The Transformative Diocesan Lent Course materials are presented so as to meet the very varied needs of parishes. There are extended quotations from the Transformative Study Session speakers, visual and musical examples, related biblical texts, as well as passages from other writers on some of the themes.

Leaders may choose from among these resources, to provide material for reflection and conversation in their groups. There are also suggested questions for discussion, which include both ideas-based and more experiential questions. They should be of use in ecumenical groups, groups that meet in small house gatherings, bigger meetings that break out into discussion cells and so on.

They contain a variety of options, therefore, and are being made available online as a simple Word document so that group leaders can customise the material to their own needs.

See www.london.anglican.org/Transformative to download the Lent Course materials.
