The Walbrook Art Group
The Next Art Group Course entitled "THESE ARE SOME OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS" at St Stephen Walbrook (London EC4) will start on Wednesday February 29th 2012 (4 weeks) 12.30 light lunch Lecture 1.00 to 2.00p.m. Further details will be posted here closer to the data. |
The Walbrook Art Group spans the e-congregation and the St Stephen Walbrook community bringing both together. Twice a year people gather at Walbrook for a presentation on artists and faith and make a visit to a gallery in London to reflect on the course studied. This is then made available on the Internet Church in a audiovisual presentation.
On the Community Page of the Internet Church members can enter into a debate on the various artists studied and share comments, The collection consists of ‘Mary in Art', ‘Italian, Flemish and Italian Artists and Faith'. ‘The Passion in Art', Various Artists, ‘Giotto, Caravaggio, Chagall and Rembrandt', and most recently ‘British Visionaries'. We hope that you will enjoy delving into the audiovisuals and adding your own comments on the community pages.
Below a choice of 8 recent art courses covering Caravaggio, Giotto, Spencer and Botticelli.
